Explore North America
North America is the third largest contient in the world with most of its landmass is located between the Artic Circle and the Tropic of Cancer. The contient is home to 23 countries with a population of almost 600 million people. Bordered by the Artic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and the Caribbean Sea- making coastal North America beautiful. Home to the United States, Mexico, and Canada- international travelers worldwide flock here to experience western culture. Modern cities, desert landscapes, incredible surfing and skiing are all reasons to visit North America.
Like any continent situated in the Northern Hemisphere the most popular time to visit falls in the summer months. North America sees the most tourist traffic between the months of June and August. The southern most part of North America (southern states and below) have welcoming weather all year. North America is generally considered a more expensive travel destination. The backpacking and budget travel lifestyle is not as prominent here in the United States. Busses and domestic flights can be rather expensive. Most US cities don’t have hostels on every corner, however in Mexico you will find more hostel style accommodation. The western USA and Canada make great winter skiing destinations. As always, your trip itinerary will dictate the best months to visit North America. Overall the summer months will be busier, warmer, and more expensive. I highly recommend visiting in early fall or late spring, right before and after peak months here in North America.
